2013 Infiniti M – Route Button (if so equipped)
Once a destination is selected, the Infiniti Navigation System helps to refine your travel plans by finding the fastest or shortest route, minimize freeways, or even, add points of interest along the way. To change these route settings: Press the ROUTE button. Select "Route Settings". Touch "Basic Route Type". Touch the preferred route condition. The indicator for the selected condition illuminates. When the conditions are set, the system starts calculating the route with your new request, and the current location map screen is displayed. If you want to cancel a route, the destination will not be completely deleted and available when you are ready to reactivate it. Here is how you can cancel a route: Press the ROUTE button. A list of route options is then shown. On the display screen, touch CANCEL ROUTE. The system will confirm your request to cancel the route, respond by touching YES. You have the option of canceling a route through voice command as well. To do so, push the TALK icon located on the steering wheel. After the tone sounds, speak a command, say: "Cancel Route". To reactivate the route, press the ROUTE button. Press RESUME ROUTE. To confirm your request, touch YES. Reactivating a route only works on the last canceled route.
