2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Proves Wagons Can Be Sexy

By on Monday, October 8th, 2012

Mercedes has finally released the CLS Shooting brake unto the world. The coupe-sedan hybrid has now become a wagon and carried with it the same sleek lines of the original CLS. European buyers will be given the choice of five separate engines ranging from a 2.1-liter diesel in the CLS250 CDI up to the monster 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 (be still our beating heart) in the CLS63 AMG. Depending in engine choice, buyers will have the option of Merc’s 4Matic AWD system.

The beauty is not only skin deep, as the interior of the new Benz is just as striking as its external silhouette. A quick look through the included gallery will show you a dash slathered in burled wood, and a rear cargo area that is covered in dead trees. It is luxury on many levels.

Of course, like all great wagon news, this a Euro-only affair. With that being said, The AutoTalk team is putting a call out for anyone in Europe who needs a new roommate. Give us a call. The AMG Wagon is calling our name.

Until we find a suitable place to live across the pond, we will be ogling these high-resolution photos. We suggest you do the same.
