Jaguar sports car will arrive at dealerships in May 2014, reports Auto Guide.

However, customers in United States will have to wait a little bit longer to buy the newest British badboy sports car.

The base and mid-range powetrains still rely on supercharged six-cylinder engines making 340 hp in the base car and 380 in the tuned-up S model starting at $65,000 and $77,000 respectively.

The F-Type is a pure roadster that is designed to put style and performance ahead of practicality. The car comes in three trims: F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type V8 S. The base car comes with Jag’s new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 making 340 horsepower and 332 lb/ft of torque.

The S model gets the same engine, but power has been increased by 40 horsepower, bringing the total up to 380. The V8 S comes with Jag’s deliciously good supercharged 5.0-liter V8. With 495 horsepower and 460 lb/ft of torque, the V8 S is the powerhouse of the trio. All cars come standard with a ZF 8-speed automatic. No manual option has been confirmed, but it would be a crime against humanity if Jaguar doesn’t offer one in the future.
