Chrysler LLC Cleans Up at AutoPacific

Each year, the experts at AutoPacific compile a list of vehicles that are absolutely loved by the most important reviewers out there: owners. Landing of the Ideal Vehicle Awards list three times was Chrysler LLC whose wide range of offerings earned more than one positive remark. From the brawny Dodge Challenger, the premium off roader Jeep Grand Cherokee to the smart but edgy Dodge Charger, AutoPacific let the people do the talking and they spoke up. Chrysler LLC knows how to make an ideal ride.

“Recognition by the customers proves we take consumer input very seriously in all the vehicles we design and build at Chrysler,” said Doug Betts, Senior Vice President of Quality at Chrysler Group. Based on an owner rating system composed of 15 attributes, the surveys are only issued to drivers who have been with their vehicles more than 90 days. This way, AutoPacific will know for certain that each rating won’t be clouded by new car jitters. Power, acceleration, space, comfort and handling are all considered in the ratings and for this year, more than 75,000 owners were surveyed.

Each winning Chrysler product was praised for certain skills that were rather outstanding. The Jeep was acclaimed for its on-road smoothness that maintains the legendary off-road hardware. The Challenger was loved for its precise nature and wealth of engine options: from powerful to really powerful. It became the Most Ideal Sporty Vehicle with its iconic and totally unique styling. Earning the rank Most Ideal Large Car was the Charger which was hailed for its combination of comfort, space, power and charm. More than 90 percent of owners gave the big Dodge full marks.
