Being James Bond has its perks, but it also seems that the job comes with a few risks. Recently, Daniel Craig was in Rome shooting a chase scene for the upcoming movie “Spectre: when he was injured. The report comes from the {L.A. Times}, stating that during filming, the Aston Martin DB10 that was Craig was in hit a large pothole causing him to hit his head inside the car.

Craig was seen by a medic on the scene, but was deemed to be in perfectly fine health. There was no word on if the DB10, one of only ten to ever be built, was injured in the filming. There was also no word on if the Jaguar C-X75 being driven by the villain hit the pothole.

It almost seems as if the people at the {L.A. Times} really only care about the stars and not the cars they were driving. That seems pretty weird to me.

In the attempt to make new movies more exciting than ever before, actors are being placed in more elaborate stunts that involve a lot more danger and risk. Thanks to these new circumstances, actors do get injured from time to time, and these injuries can delay or even cause a cancellation of a film. Things get more concerning when these possible injuries involve head trauma. There has been a lot of discussion around head injuries with relation to the various racing drivers who have been subjected to large head trauma over the last year or so. Thankfully Daniel Craig’s injury was only minor.

Aston Martin DB10

The Aston Martin DB10 is a new unique car that was built for use in the new James Bond film, “Spectre.” Little is known about the car as all ten units were built exclusively for filming use, but we expect it rides on the same VH architecture that underpins the new Vanquish, and it will likely be powered by a new 4.0-liter turbocharged V-8 that was sourced from Aston’s new partnership with Mercedes-Benz.
