What a turn of events at Formula Drift Long Beach! Due to the weather, safety officials and drivers have decided to forgo qualifying runs. Due to the rain in Long Beach it was decided that it wouldn’t be safe to continue with qualifying for competition, mainly due to the nature of the course.

The Long Beach event is held at turns 9, 10, and 11 of the Long Beach Grand Prix course. If you’ve never watched the Long Beach Grand Prix, the turns are walled off heavily for spectator protection. Competition will happen rain or shine tomorrow, the safety officials just want to see every car make it to competition. The qualifying chart will go back to the 2015 results, and the new drivers will bring up the rear to complete the 32 car bracket. The drivers are placed as follows.
