Are Land Rovers still used by the U.S military?

Ive just been looking on wikipedia and it stated that the US bought some after the 1st Gulf War. Is it true, and are they still in use?

i don't think the government uses land roves no more. from my knowledge, (i could be wrong) land rovers are used in other countires.. like london, and europe. i think.

The only use of Land Rovers by the American military, that I know of, would be on bases in countries where Land Rovers are commonly available. Even the bases in the Middle East are mostly supplied with American SUVs.

Do you believe everything you read online? I have no idea about the other branches of the service, but my husband is a mechanic (CW2) for the Army and he has never said anything about this. So, I would say the Army isn't using them.
