    Default I am going to buy a Peugeot 205gti 1.6 it is a 1990 g reg car how much...

    ...should I pay for the car please.? The car is a standard car. It has done 118,000 miles in grey and is in good condition for its age. it is MOTed till November but has no road tax. Thank you kindly. Also could you tell me please what faults to look for on this type of car. Cheers.

    Look for crash damage ! like most Peugeots clutches are common for going stiff ( sometimes cable but normally the clutch ) Dont forget this car is now 18 years old ! so check over it well.

    Between 500 and a thousand depending on condition and check on the head gasket ie white scum on oil filler cap

    I've got a black 205 GTI 1.6 D-reg that I need to sell, only done 72,000 miles but its got a few engine probs.
