ive had an audi a3 for 11 months now, its 5 years old, low mileage. this year ive taken it into the garage 5 times with engine management problems. Anyone else own an audi and have had similar problems? its costing me a fortune! im so put off buying another audi.

The problem with dealerships is that they employ wannabe mechanics.
They think that you plug your car into a laptop, it tells you what's wrong and you change that part.
Dealerships will charge about £60 per hour for this.
If you can find a decent garage they will read the error code from your ecu and then try to find out what is the true fault.
This will cost about £35 per hour.
5 times in 11 months is not good.
Have you any information on what the problems have been?
Audi's are a very reliable car on the whole,it sounds like the garage is not up to the job!

"engine managment problems" is not a single thing....you dont say whats wrong,or whats replaced...are they making the same repair over and over or is it a differnt problem every time...
