My husband changed my oil in my car recently and in a mad rush he did not change out my oil filter. I noticed when I reversed out the driveway that there was oil in the driveway everytime. Is is not leaking to the point where I have to put oil in it all the time but the leak scares me nonetheless. He went in and removed some of the oil thinking that since the old filter was still in there and it was probably soaked with oil that he should not have put in the same amount that he normally puts in. Could the problem be the oil change and overestimating the amount of oil that he put in or could it be that we needs to change a gasket or O-ring?
