    Default Cost to fix/ replace front left wheel bearing on 1995 vw jetta?

    1995 Jetta, 2.0L, 5 speed. Looking to buy the car and the driver said the bearing needs to be fixed to cert. Thanks alot.

    Here is what my husband says (13+yrs of mechanics):

    If it's front wheel drive, usally the bearing and hub are one assimbly. It can range between $150 to $500 bucks assuming ur gonna do the work urself. If ur gonna have someone else do it for you, it's $1000.00 dollars easy!!!
