General Motors is going to reorganize its engineering group in the wake of an ignition-switch recall connected to 13 deaths, reports Detroit Free Press.

The automaker said that John Calabrese will retire as vice president of global vehicle engineering. He will be replaced with two vice presidents: Ken Kelzer will lead global vehicle components and subsystems while Ken Morris will become head of the newly created global product integrity group.

Morris will also oversee supplier quality.
