GMC Puts a Price on The 2013 Acadia
The full size Lambda SUVs have been a General Motors staple since 2007 and later this fall, one of them will finally go through a refresh. The 2013 GMC Acadia will continue to carry the floating on clouds chassis dynamics that has made the namesake so popular albeit with a new set of clothes and features. Along with each new and familiar item will be an industry first as the new hauler will contain a front-center air bag and it will do all of this for as little as $34,875.
First on the list of new-for-2013 features is the Acadia’s body. The changes made are by no means drastic but just enough to give a little extra distinction compared to the other Lambdas. A bold and flat grille sits nicely between two all-new LED headlamps with a war-ready black-out strip underneath. The fenders have been pulled to give the SUV a lower, wider and much more road-friendly stance. On the inside, the materials used have been changed and they seem to have been done for the better. Standard features will include rear park assist, rearview camera, leather wrapped steering wheel, a color touch screen, and interior ambient lighting.
Just as with the previous model, the 2013 will bring the Denali trim to the table. For $46,770, the top-level Acadia will include such items as a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, Head-Up Display, Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
