The GMC Sierra is already a good looking truck, but the Elevation Edition took things up a notch with its dark wheels and color-matched trim pieces. The Elevation Edition is returning in 2016, but it’s coming with some new visual tricks and upgrades.

Up front the nose has been restyled to look a little bolder than last year, and it comes complete with HID headlamps and LED lighting details. To keep the menacing look that it had last year, the 2016 Elevation has body-colored bumpers, door handles, mirror caps, and grille surround, as well as 20-inch black alloy wheels. The “Elevation” badging sees some tweaking as well.

Inside all 2016 Sierras get an upgraded infotainment unit with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Of course the truck also comes with 4G LTE and built-in WiFi connectivity. Selected standard equipment for the Elevation Edition includes keyless entry, power heated mirrors, and a remote locking tailgate.

Engine choices include the 4.3-liter V6 or 5.3-liter V8. No 6.2-liter is available for the Elevation Edition. 2WD and 4WD versions are both available. If you want one, they are scheduled to go on sale first quarter next year.
