Lamborghini Gallardo Gets Major Update For 2013

The Lamborghini Gallardo has soldiered on for much longer than any car really should, but to help keep buyers interested until its rumored replacement shows up in 2014, the current car is getting some upgrades.

The most obvious change takes place for the mid range Gallardo LP 560-4. It receives a whole new face with aggressive angles. It is actually a bit refreshing. The rear has seen the same sort of updating with new angles and designs. There are new 19-inch wheels to round out the design updates. Mechanically, the car remains the same for the year.

The new special edition for the year, because the must have one every year is the Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica. These cars come equipped with a new fixed rear wing, carbon ceramic brakes and have received a slight weight reduction. To separate the new package visually, it comes in three wild color combinations: matte black with orange, matte white with orange or orange with matte black. Overall we think the new color combination looks interesting and befits such a wild looking car, but seriously Lamborghini, we need a replacement already.
