Pricing for the new 2017 GT-R premium was announced today, and if you are looking into buying one you may want to take a seat. Starting at $109,990, the first of 4 GT-R package options is not cheap. Nissan has slowly increased the price of the GT-R almost every year since its introduction in 2007, and they are showing no signs of stopping.

Thankfully this year the new price tag feels more justified with many major improvements over previous models. We can’t wait to get our hands on one to provide you with a real world opinion of it. Nissan is looking to broaden the range of customers with this new model, providing appealing aspects in both the grand touring area and the racing area. Power on the Premium model is up 20 horsepower and a titanium exhaust is now standard. While interior aspects make the GT-R much more driver friendly like acoustic glass, and active noise cancellation to lessen wind noise and enhance your driving experience.

The rest of the GT-R pricing levels will be released in the coming months, including the highly anticipated NISMO edition. Keep it locked right here on autotalk.com for all things GT-R.
