can a 1999 citroen saxo coded key be by-passed to allow the engine to be started? topic posted in Citroen Forum

    i have a 1999 citroen saxo 1.4 that has a new coded ignition key but its not coded to the car.can the system be easily bypassed to allow the car to be started or does the key have to be coded..

    It's anti theft,immobiliser
    It is a sophisticated circuit that runs from the ign switch to the injection pump,removing all this will cost more then a 128 pounds coded key.
