Can a Ferrari salesperson make a lot of money?

I went to a Ferrari dealership a couple of months ago (just to look, I am still in college) and the salesman was really nice, he talk to me for a least twenty minutes. He told me that he had a Ferrari and he talked about where he lived, he lived in an awesome area of NJ. All he does is sell Ferraris and the Maseratis at the dealership. While I am going to school he said he did not go to college. Can you really make THAT much money just selling Ferrari cars? Serious answers only.

There is a high markup on Ferraris. I imagin their sales people make a good chunk off each sale. But keep in mind that even though he lives in a "awesome area of NJ" he could have inharrited the money or his wife might be an executive somewhere.
