Can K&N Air Filter really save gas for my Lexus IS300?

I know better airflow increases little hp, but I'm more interested in saving fuel since I commute far. I know tornardo is a scam, so I'm looking for any ideas to save gas any other way without stripping the interior, taking out a/c, or taking out the spare tire. Any good ideas will be much appreciated. If you happen to drive IS300, let me know from your experinces.
