Do I really need those expensive Denso Iridium Plugs for Lexus IS300?

Is that what Lexus recommends? Or can I buy some NGK platinum plugs instead? I looked online & best price I can find for Denso Iridiums are for $10.58 a piece. I saw some NGK ones for $1.99 a piece. Let me know if it's going to be deadly to use these NGK ones or not. Here is the link:

hi passer by .. i don't think it should make a diffrence as to what plugs you use. just stick with platinum it should be ok but one thing i you should look for is the spaceing or gapping on the plugs make sure that they are correct for your car . you should find this info in your car manual or also can buy the ones they sell for your make ,model and year (these will be pre gapped)
