so i noticed it was very low on power steering fluid, which is also the fluid for the power hydraulics, i filled it up whith the special fluid from castrol, recommended on the service manual.
i drove it for a couple of days and then the steering got unusually hard to turn. where should i start looking for the problem?

That sounds like you could have air still in the lines, a quick fix for that is to turn the wheel lock to lock 5 times and see if that clears it up, another possibility is the pump itself going bad.ORR worse case scenario..steering rack is going
    Good luck with it
