Help i have a citroen saxo x reg and i have a oil leak?

the leak is at the very frount of the car near the frount head light i have had a look but not seen where's its from any one got any ideas btw spoke to a garage they said no point doing any think unless my dipstick goes down hope someone can help thanks john

Strange to have oil coming out near the headlight! The only thing that I can think of is that the oil is squirting out somewhere near the top of the engine and is running down a channel then dripping off at the front. - Have a look around the cylinder head and the oil filler cap. Do it in good light - look for wet patches anywhere on the engine.

ps are you sure that it is oil and not brake fluid?
