I know that there is a way to override older Nav Systems through a series of taps which get you into the diagnostic mode. From all the research I've done, this is not possible on the later model cars. From what I have found, the only way to "fix" the Nav System is to take apart the dash and cut some wires. Not something I want to do myself!
I've seen a few similar questions posted here and a number of answers saying that people should contact their dealer. Save your dime! The dealership won't do a thing!! Neither will they acknowledge the problem! In fact, there is a website that has been created specifically to address this problem:
http://www.lexusoverride.com/index.php.
Any help with this would be much appreciated!
