idling at stop light at first...i it responds well to battery being charged. but this lagging makes me wonder if you think its a starter/alternator (are they the SAME thing?) issue and not say, a tranny or something else issue. thanks. i appreciate your feedback.

If you can take off both the starter and the alternator, have someone bring you to any Autozone for free testing of them both. I think one or both are at fault, if not the voltage regulator or starter solenoid. It is a free service we offer. Hope this helps. Autozone store # 2945
