i have a datsun 120y that won't start when it is hot?

if i tap the accelerator pedal it will start but then there is a real strong smell of petrol.It has had new plugs,leads and distributor cap recently.Any help would be appreciated

You a problem on your car. Try to go visit machine shops near you or your dealership. I know they can help you for that.
