i have an Isuzu rodeo front wheel drive 98 when i turn the key it clicks and

i have to turn the stiring wheel to the left and turn the key it clicks and to the right and it clicks i have to do this several time before it starts. but it only does this on a cold start what do you think is wrong

Starter motor needs replaced. The clicking sound is the starter solenoid. Replace starter now before it gives up totally.
