the isuzu NPR is A bobtail, with a diesel engine. When i hit the switch for the engine brake, i can barely hear it, and it has no effect. there are no poping noises in either exhaust or intake and it runs great. the engine brake light on the instrument panel does go on when the switch is on. but it has no effect at all.
