I recently bought a 2006 kawasaki vulcan 900 LT motorcycle, then the rain started. I haven't ridden it but 1 mile. I am very curious as to what fuel mileage I should expect from my new toy,both city and highway. On a ride to Colorado last July traveling desert highways at about 65/70 MPH I constantly got over 65 MPG on an old 1983 750 V-twin honda I had restored, my two companions got 40/45 on a newer Honda1200 Sabre, and surprisingly, the new 1500 suzuki got near 60 MPG on the open roads. Thanks for any info.
