we r thinking of getting a MG 1.4 but we ave been told they r bad because there head gasket goes and its a 51 plate plz help as i like them but i dont want a car i it is going to cost 2 much in parts

The head gaskets blow at about 40,000 miles. Either get one with muchless than this or one that's had the gasket done - preferably as the replacement are different and more reliable.
BUT
Spares are getting expensive so it should be cheap but the letters MG keep the price up.
