My girlfriend called me when I was at work today. She had driven to the airport, stopped to drop the person off, then when she went to go, her rear wheel wouldn't turn. Its a 1993 Audi 90s FWD, so it has disc brakes. (I immediatly thought frozen brake shoe). It could possibly be a frozen caliper, but I couldn't see that holding the wheel so it wouldn't turn. My next thought was wheel bearing. I haven't had a chance to get over there to look and move the wheel around to see if its is that, but I am going soon. My question is, because it is so locked up, do you think it needs a spindle? It's probably one of those things, you don't really know until you see it, but I figured if it has happened to anyone else.
