1996 Mazda mx6-not start in cold weather

I have a 96 mx6 with a 2.5 V6 engine. In the cold it does not start and floods if I even touch the gas pedal. No codes showed up. I changed fuel pump, new spark plugs, new water sensor, fresh gas.
Once started in milder weather it hesitates/chokes when I give gas too fast. It also uses lots of gas.

After three weeks of this now a code shows up P1195 (EGR boost/Baro sensor open or short, AKA Map sensor).

Question: 1) would a bad MAP sensor prevent the car from starting up in cold weather? If not, what else could it be?
Question : 2) Would a bad MAP sensor cause hesitation/choking when I give gas?

I changed the fuel pump, filter, spark plugs and added gas additives. The car will start if it is indoor for the night. It also hesitates when driving, but it will pick up speed if I don't accelerate fast.
