1997 cadillac catera oil leak? what can be the cause?

hi, my sister has a 1997 cadillac catera with 75,000 miles on it, but I noticed that the car was leaking a yellowish fluid, looks like engine oil, but was told by dad it isnt that. The oil though is at the top part of the engine, noticeable when you pop the hood, and next to the hose on the right side that leads to the radiator. How could the oil be drenching the entire hose, I mean IT IS WET all over that hose.

motor isn't yellow, it's probebly coolent and the hose could be craked or the stub that the house goes on to could be cracked. change the house
