2001 Ford Taurus Starter . Where is it located? if im looking head on at the car?

if you get under the car you will see it. crawl under the passenger side tire and right where the engine meets the exhaust manifold, you should see it there, if you dont see it there go on the opposite side and look at the same place, i amy be confused on which side.

Follow the larger positive lead from the battery. When it stops, your hand will be on the starter.

Remove the bolts, pin-type retainers and the front splash shield.
Look up and you'll see the starter.
