2001 Pontiac sunfire body control module help

I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire w/o keyless entry.I was told the body control mod was bad.I brought a new one.The dealer said it had to be programmed.They wanted 270.00 to do it.I do not have that kind of money.Is there any way i can program it myself? Where is it located at under the dash?Thank you

You should pay that price. Try to ask some of the shops maybe they have program and much cheaper than the shops you visited.
