2001 Volvo S60 possible heater core leak. Urgent?

Hi,
I've noticed some green liquid, which looks like coolant on the passenger side, under the mat. After searching the Internet, it seems like it's the heater core, which is leaking. I have noticed the car's coolant level drops regularly, and I need to refill.

If the problem is indeed the heater core, is it urgent to get it fixed? Now's summer, so there's no real need for any heating to be done. Is it going to leak even if it's only the airconditioning running?

Yes it's going to leak in the summer, and if you don't get it taken care of it will only leak worse. It could rupture, as all hot fluids under pressure can do. So get it done.
