Acura released the new NSX concept in early North American International Auto Show. It is reported that the new NSX model will launch the racing version and the hybrid system will be replaced by the traditional power systems which is expected to be launched in 2014.
NSX concept uses the latest lightweight materials. It is estimated that the racing version of the NSX model appearance will adopt a more aerodynamic package. The new car will be rear-wheel-drive mid-layout. Due to the competition speculation, the hybrid system is prohibited, so the NSX racing version will adopt the traditional power system.
While the SH-AWD (Super-wheel drive freedom control system) drive system equipped in the regular version is also expected to feature in the racing version. The system can have better stability and controls of the vehicle when cornering and high efficiency by adjusting the torque of the front and rear wheels through the two electric motors.
