Any idea why my 05 jeep liberty "part time" light is reversed?

The light is ON when in 2WD and OFF when in 4HI etc... seems like this has somehow gotten reversed. I did have the front left corner of the car repaired after a small wreck, maybe they messed up the computer repairing that?
