I have a 95 Impreza with a ton of miles on it but previously no running problems..gradually I had a starting problem, what it would do was this.....
take about 3 to 4 times starting
after it started would usually stall back out, a couple of times of doing this it will start but run really bad, to the point of almost stalling but so bad you cant believe its running
after a few minutes of this it like suddenly comes to life and runs like a dream...now....starting problem has only gotten worse, with it taking a whole lot more trys to start it, usuallly just turning the key over but not trying to start it a dozen times then trying to start it a dozen times, lately trying to start it so much is running the battery down so Im also having to put it on the charger...but when I get it started, it runs bad like before, then great,,,it starts back up fine if I dont let it sit more than a few hours, after that it starts hard again...someone told me its some engine temp sensor thats bad???
