...switch off the passenger airbag? I'm looking at buying a Vauxhall Zafira, 2.0 diesel (53 plate) and was wondering whether they have the ability to manually switch off the passenger airbag with the key?

The reason I ask is because for SAFETY reasons you should turn off the passenger airbag if you are to put a baby in a rear facing car seat in the front.
Before people say, the baby would be safer in the back, that is not true. In a rear facing car seat they are actually safer in the front. Not to mention the fact that when traveling alone with the baby it is safer and beneficial for the baby to be in the front so you cant check on them and asist if necessary. (when stopped, of course)
