My dad refuses to buy me a Hyundai for my first car cuz he says that it’s a Korean car and that there is going to be problems with it and it’s going to be a high maintenance car but I really want to prove him wrong
They are nice cars and affordable and low miles
So if you own one please tell me how many times it breaks down or having to go into the shop and is it expensive to fix give me your opinion on it
Thank you

My sister has a Tiburon, and she LOVES it. It comes with the best warranty (for parts/labor) offered on any car in the market today (check out Consumer Reports) with a 10 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.

I own a Hyundai Sonata (used to have the Santa Fe too!) and I've NEVER had to pay for service. I took it in to the dealer for an oil/lube/filter a month ago (I've had my car for three years) and state inspection and it only cost me $9.00 for the inspection only.

Your father needs to check out the facts. I think he may be thinking it's a Honda or Toyota...and he's right. Those are expensive to own, fix and have limited warranty offers.
