It is reported that Audi has launched the F12 E impetus prototypes in October. The car uses a pure electric engine, the maximum power of 150kW (204 hp).
Within the three years of completion of this electric car, Audi will work with Bosch research institutions located in the RWTH Aachens University to further research and develop electric engines. And the car's electric engine module will be applied to more vehicles which will be a significant step forward in the development of electric transportation.
The E-powered car is based on Audi R8 model and has a 38 kW / h battery, and also equipped with three electric motors which can be controlled separately. At slow speeds the front axle's motor is used. While at high speeds, the two rear motors can be activated to allow the model to produce a total output of 204 HP (150 kW) and it has a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).
The Audi F12 might make it into production.
