I have a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi..I have recently noticed small puddles of transmission fluid on the drive...I have looked it over (and under) and it appears to be coming from a "vent" on top of the transmission housing right where it connects to the motor..there is a little spinner cap on top and a small puddle on the housing just below it...I have NOT changed the fluid filter as the car only has 51,000 miles on it..Any suggestions? Hopefully something I can do myself as I like doing most of my own repairs...
