Yesterday my hose that connects to the radiator just blew off and antifreeze went everywhere. I had the car serviced about a month ago when my fan belt broke which caused me to have to replace the belt, fan, waterheater, and thermostat. I was told at that time my radiator outlet (Im not sure what its called but its what you connect the hose to) ridges were worn out which didnt allow the hose to fit securely. Anyway, of course I ignored it because it didnt seem logical to replace it because it was worn out. I figured I would put a better clamp on it, so I filled it back up and but a better clamp on and it stays on now but it still overheats after 20 min of driving. Could I have overfilled or is there something else? Is the mix wrong?
