cam chainon a vauxhall corsa?

Can anyone tell me if the cam chain on a 51 reg 1.2 DOHC vauxhall corsa is hydrolically tensioned please. The reason I ask is my car is making a rather loud tapping noise from that area and the noise gets louder as the engine reaches operating temperature and the oil thins out. I first thought it was the tappets but I've never heard a tappet sound this loud, also can the chain be inspected for slack or wear by taking off the cam cover? Thank you for your help.

I whouls recommend you to change your car if you can as most of the vauxhall coming out faulty and unrepairable.I think Vauxhall should stop the factory and leave it to as natural name to OPEL .
