financed, AND......? 1. Can the police forfeit a vehicle that has a loan out on it, and is being financed?
2. That is owned by two people, AND?
3. The amount owed on the loan is more than you could sell it for, OR after selling it at a car dealer's (inflated) price, would make less than $500.?

What do they do with the car?
Especially if they can't make any money on it?

Yes, they can. They really don't care if this causes you to pay for a car that you do not own and destroy your credit. In fact, these things happened to you because of your poor choices to begin with (the DWI).

they dont seize it for dwi typically ..they call a tow if you have no one that can legally drive it back home while you are given a ride in the police car to jail. and you then must pay for it being towed in order to get it back or if it gets impounded you pay to get it out.
