you rev the engine? I've taken the car to a mechanic and they say it's a problem with the sentry transponder key. A while back I lost the key and a locksmith made a new key for the car. They say that the sentry system is shutting off the fuel pump intermittantly and this is what causes the car to stall. This doesn't make sense to me however because the engine doesn't run at all when this happens. It stalls immediately unless you give it gas and keep the rpm's up at which point it will run fine after about 15min the car seems to "warm up" and will no longer stall when letting off the gas. Also I thought if it was the key the car would run for five seconds before timing out. That's what it did when the locksmith came and inserted the key before programming it. To further complicate things it seems to happen whenever I get gas and originally it was thought that this was some sort of vaccum leak problem. But now the machenic swears it is the key, does this make sense to anyone? any other ideas?
