Chrysler town and country van 1999 speedometer?

the speedometer in my chrysler town and country doesnt tell you the miles per hour that you are traveling whenever you drive the car. the speedometer guage stays at 0 instead of going to 45 miles per hour. It is a problem that I would like to fix.

If your odometer isn't working either, then it is your "speed and distance" sensor, mounted in the transaxle, inline with the axles. Shouldn't be too expensive to fix, but is probably difficult (because of tight room) for the backyard mechanic.
