Commercial Vehicle Title Problem Please Help!?

A family member bought a semi truck about three years ago and paid cash for the truck. He got the title transferred over to him and recently took it to his bookkeeper for paperwork purposes. The owner's brother picked the title up from the bookkeeper and went to Idaho DMV and registered himself as a lien holder. Does my family member have any recourse, what can be done?

Yes, but you will have to take him (the brother) to court and prove that he has no fiduciary interest in the vehicle. .

You may be able to do it in small claims court without an attorney, if not, you will have to secure an attorney and sue. .

That is of course assuming that you can not persuade the brother to release his claim. .
