Did Japan ever build a Harley Davidson Motorcycle ?

Currently HD outsources some of their parts including, Carbs, Turn Signals and some electrical components.

Although they outsource parts as ALL American car manufacturer's the bike is assembled here is the USA.

yes, in the AMC years. sometime in the 70's. they didn't build the whole thing, just some parts were contracted out to them, i don't know the specifics. do your own web search
