Does anybody know how to permanently turn off the alarm in a Volvo 850?

Today, my burgalar alarm came on while I was driving. The red light on the dash was blinking and the horn just blares on and off.

That was a lot of fun being the bad guy at traffic lights...

I had to unhook the battery for the night because its blaring with the ignition on or off.

I love the car, but it's kill'n me right now!

How can I turn the alarm off permanently? One less issue.

if it is only wired to the horn find the wire that that looks like it was added and cut it and tape it
